To me, it seems like the different record labels and other Christian organizations should be able to infuse this festival and others like it with some cash.

For the past six years, the concert series has been losing money. Ichthus Ministries tried laying off staff and cutting expenses to the bone to close the gap, but now it says it has no choice but to take a painful step: sell the 110-acre festival site at a time when the real estate market is as soft as a muddy mosh pit.

Have you been attending Ichthus? Have you noticed things being in the decline for participation and quality at all? I hadn’t really heard of anything.

How do you think we should try to help keep events like these running around the country. Are there two many of them? Should we see some consolidation perhaps? What do you think is the answer?

TobyMac, Skillet, Switchfoot, Relient K, Barlow Girl, Newsboys, Superchick, and on and on… Yeah, they’re all going to be there and we’re going to do our best to be there with them.

Taking a family of four can get pretty ‘spensive, so that’s what we’re working on now. We love camping, so that won’t be a problem. It will cost $260 for all of us to attend the festival start to finish, just for the tickets.

If I make it, you can bet I’ll be covering it as much as possible. Anyone know if they have wi-fi available onsite?

Hillsong United, the internationally recognized worship band will appear in over 440 movie theaters across the US for a one night event on November 4^th.  With sold out live shows across the US (and some sold out theaters for this event already), this is the only chance to see this Australian musical sensation in a big way!  Audiences will be treated to:
