Not directly related to Christian music, but since we also cover things related to worship I had to share the artistry of Camron Ware. I’ll let him introduce himself in his own words from his website.

(NASHVILLE) June 2, 2008—Digital media company Spinnaker Media LLC is acquiring the assets of HearItFirst.com – the digital Christian music discovery website – from EMI Christian Music Group (EMI CMG); the company that created and developed the site. As part of Spinnaker, HearItFirst.com will operate as a stand-alone, independent digital music service serving Christian music fans. Future plans are to eventually expand the site into other music genres.

I’m hoping becoming an independent  website and partnered with EMI CMG and Sony BMG they’ll start getting an even broader reach across the Christian music industry.

There are some more options for you to hear even more Christian music online now. Crosswalk Radio has launched and has a load of different channels/stations for just the style of music you were wanting to hear.

I’m currently listening to the “Christian Classics” station and am hearing 2nd Chapter of Acts “Love, Peace, Joy”. Quite the flashback. Good stuff though, you don’t hear this on the radio all the time, that’s for sure. The next song up was Billy Sprague “Waiting for the Day”.

There’s a new Christian music website available, but this one has a little bit different spin to it.

AccessChristianMusic.com focuses on covering not only the Christian music industry, but also the technology developments that Christian music artists can use to help promote their work.

The site is full of information that’s already been helpful to me. I assist a number of musicians and artists with their websites as well as help promoting them as artists as well. Having knowledge of what things are happening in the music industry and how it may impact Christian musicians is a nice resource to have at your disposal.

My mom participated in a National Youth Congress that took place in Estes Park, CO a LONG time ago. To this day though she still talks about how beautiful the area was. I love being out in nature, so I can imagine how nice it would be to combine that with immersing myself in Christian music at this event.

If you’re a musician, band members, singer, worship team member or worship leader then there’s probably loads of reason you’d be interested in this event.
