DC Talk has a new album coming out. Okay, maybe not new because it’s a Greatest Hits CD, but it’s still a new CD. As I was looking at this new album though, I started thinking about all the albums they’ve put out and which one was my favorite. It also crossed my mind since I just finished working through an online survey for K-LOVE and the last song on the survey was “Lean On Me”. So, with that being said, what’s your favorite DC Talk album? Let us know in our latest poll! {democracy:6} After visiting the DC Talk website to make sure IRead More →

David Crowder Band (DC*B) Welcomes New Member

According to Ragamuffin Soul and Wikipedia (read the full entry over at Ragamuffin’s site for the full explanation), David Crowder Band welcomes new guitarist Mark Waldrop to their ranks. The new members means there’s more than likely and ex-member, which would be Taylor Johnson. So, without further ado, Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Mark Waldrop. (He’s the one who looks sorta rockstarish.) He has some serious mad guitar skills, a healthy volume of Harry Potter information in his head, and deep roots in the piney woods of East Texas. I love this group! Photo Credit: WikipediaRead More →

My church is having Craig Gross, pastor of XXXChurch.com at our church in June. Lot’s of debate and discussion among our members about whether they should be coming into our church or not. Are we in denial? Would you have them at your church? I’ll bet if you’re not willing to sing a secular song in church you’d probably have a tough time getting this approved in one of your services.Read More →

Here’s a video blog update for how Mark’s doing in his tour across America on his bike. He’s 3 days ahead of schedule and the video below shows him suprising his family at their family reunion that they didn’t think he’d be around to participate in because of his bike tour. I’m still trying to confirm whether or not I’ll be able to meet Mark for a photo op when he comes through Indianapolis. You can be sure I’ll let you know and have photos if it happens.Read More →

I remember when I first heart Mat Kearney, I wasn’t introduced to him as a new Christian artist, but he is, even though he doesn’t really prefer to use the label as such. With his popularity lately, it seems he’s getting more opportunity to witness than others in the Christian music industry. Here’s an interesting article about Mat from John J. Moser and The Morning Call out of Allentown, PA.Read More →
