Do my ears deceive me? Are the final 8 American Idol finalists singing a boldly worship song by Darlene Zschech, “Shout to the Lord”. This is old news I guess now but I’m just now catching up. They performed this song last night for “Idol Gives Back” on Wednesday night but U-verse failed to realize that “Idol Gives Back” is part of the American Idol series recording. I wish I had heard about this earlier. Worship Leader Magazine has had a contest going on where you could win a $15,000 stage makeover for your church. The problem is the entries have already been submitted and now you can vote for who you think should be the winner. At first I was thinking “Ahhh man! Why didn’t I hear about this sooner?” Then I started thinking, could $15,000 be used in a better way to reach more people for Christ? What do you think? If I were ever to move somewhere for no reason other than to attend a church I wanted to, it would probably be to Georgia to attend Buckhead Church where Carlos Whitaker, aka Ragamuffin Soul, is the worship leader.
