I just saw this video posted on Facebook by my friend Tara. I’ve never heard of The Avett Brothers and now I’m very glad that Tara has introduced me to them. It doesn’t appear that they are a “Christian” group, but they sure sing this song with some feeling. In the video below they’re sing “Just a Closer Walk With Thee” in an acoustic performance. My father-in-law and I were just talking about Take 6. He had seen them on a TV show taping recently. I was thinking I hadn’t heard much from them in quite awhile so took a stab in the dark and visited their website at http://www.take6.com/.
