I just had someone invite me to be their “peep” on MyCCM. His profile name is AorphiaA. His music sounds similar to Yanni, which I’ve always liked. AorphiaA event attributes Yanni as one of his favorite influencing artists on his profile. AorphiA attributes his musical abilities as a gift as he doesn’t know how to read music. Rebecca St. James and Brian Littrell will be performing together on a Christmas tour. Interestingly enough too, Rebecca St. James also has her own YouTube channel. It’s getting easier and easier for musicians to market themselves with free tools like YouTube and MySpace. I was just contacted by the owner of Indie Punch. This is a site devoted to helping market and publicize independent Christian artists and market them actively. After reading through the site and seeing some of the artists they’re backing and reading their articles, I think this might be a good site for you to check-out if you’re interested in indie artists. If you’re an independent musician yourself, I really encourage you to check them out.
