The Fray’s song “How To Save A Life” is sitting at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks. Pretty cool to see a Christian band sitting at the top of the charts. Probably not 100% accurate to label the band Christian, but they’re made up of Christians so pick your category.Read More →

My apologies everyone for the crude comments that have made it into the viewable blog pages. b5 has been getting slammed across the network with spamments like those and Akismet isn’t working as expected or as normal. I didn’t realize the crude ones were coming through as approved until I just went through the approved comments and saw some of them. If you’re ever browsing this site or other blogs for that matter and notice profane and crude comments, feel free and drop an e-mail to the blogger to let them know some junk has made it through the defenses. Thanks and my apologies again.Read More →

I know, I know Bono is now promoting AIDS relief by selling candy-apple red iPods, a portion of which will be given to help fight AIDS in Africa. (A bit of advice, if you really care about fighting AIDS, forgo the iPod all-together and donate everything to AIDS relief. What I’m more interested in discussing now though is the what U2 and Bono are doing to promote Christianity. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted about mainstream artists being overtly or covertly Christian and those were quite active posts. I just read a great paper that’s available on The Thoughtful Christian website entitled “The Music and MessageRead More →

My old roommate is doing quite well with his studios in Franklin, TN. What’s even more interesting than his succes is that he’s expanded to doing voice-over work for two games recently developed by Big Idea, Inc., the company responsible for all the VeggieTales success. The two new games are VeggieTales: LarryBoy and the Bad Apple for the Sony Playstation 2, and VeggieTales: Dance, Dance, Dance for the PC. One thing I can tell you from personal experience with Fred, he’s definitely in touch with the needs of artists during recording sessions and makes it a priority to do everything he can to ensure they’reRead More →
