With the bright colors of fall, the cooler weather, and the smell of things baking in the oven (albeit it’s just a candle so far), I tend to fall in a bit of a warm & welcoming melancholy mood. As I was looking for a new video of Brandon Heath’s new song “Give Me Your Eyes” I came across this other great song by Brandon, but American Idol’s Jason Castro is performing it in the video below. Today in our service our special song was a new one by Brandon Heath called “Give Me Your Eyes”. My wife had told me about it earlier this week and told me I should find the video on YouTube and blog about it. I found the two videos below, I like the first one much better. “Who Am I” by Casting Crowns, one of my favorite songs, performed by a blacklight drama group at a church. I’ve seen this similar performance done to this song live and it’s quite moving. I guess it’s a pretty good problem to have in that I’m getting introduced to so much great music I can’t keep up. The latest album for me to review comes from Sarah MacIntosh and the album “The Waiters, The Watchers, The Listeners, The Keepers & Me”.
