My old roommate is doing quite well with his studios in Franklin, TN. What’s even more interesting than his succes is that he’s expanded to doing voice-over work for two games recently developed by Big Idea, Inc., the company responsible for all the VeggieTales success. A friend of mine, Kurt Kirton, is getting some pretty good exposure with his group “People In a Box”. The group is a techno/dance group. I recently received this e-mail from him. People in a Box was very excited to learn that their hot new trance single, “Since You’ve Been Gone (N-Vision mix)” featured alongside Paris Hilton, Lasgo, and a Tiesto remix on major record pool TM Century’s recent radio disk!  The Brutus Pop mix has been on the exclusive Dance Chapel Top 20 for July and August (www.dancechapel.com) and keeps rising! This song was not available on the CD, however, it will be availableRead More →

Dan Haseltine, lead singer of Jars of Clay, is interviewed on Christianity Today. It’s a really great interview and talks about how the band came to record their soon to be released album “Good Monsters” available next week. The specific quote that really hits home is: The gospel never calls us to live our lives privately, but the idea of individualism and isolation has worked itself into our idea of what a good Christian life looks like—that it’s full of quiet times where it’s just us and God. But for me, when I get into that scenario, the only voice I’m really hearing is myRead More →
