I didn’t end up getting to go to the SonFest concert at Mount Vernon Nazarene University as I had planned. My son’s first flag football game was Saturday, a carnival at his school, and I was able to help a member of our small group move their parents into a new apartment.
My new plans, nor the rain, caused anyone to get their spirits doused over the weekend. The concert still went on as scheduled and it sounded like a number of people had a really good time.

Sound of faith: Christian rock no longer limited to church basements
As always, I’m eager to hear how the concert went from some of my readers. If you’re reading this and went to the concert, I’d love to get a review from you. Just e-mail me and give me your review and we’ll post it.
UPDATE: Just got this review from a current student that was working at the concert. Thanks Amanda!
yeah I went, I actually was working at it.
I thought i was gr8!! Despite the rain, the crowd was really kept going by the bands. everyone i know who went had a gr8 time. The best band by far was Skillet, and of course Jeremy Camp. the bands were all willing to sign autographs after their performances, and we all very nice people.
