Someone recently asked me what my favorite “religious” song was. I didn’t really prefer that naming of a “Christian” song, but I obviously knew what they meant by the question. As I thought about it, my first thought was to not choose one of the current favorites because how can a recent song be my all time favorite? Has anyone seen this yet? It’s a new Bible study series for youths that build on the Christian Music industry by providing different artists and groups to actually lead the study. The Big Shiny Planet effort seems like a pretty cool idea to me, especially for a youth group. I’m not sure how well it would do out of that age group and demographic, but that’s okay. Focus on something and be excellent at it right? With artists like Barlow Girl, Building 429 and Stellar Kart, there should be some instant connections between members of the youth group and the artists leading the study. IfRead More →
