After being introduced to Tyler James, I was able to find a few videos about Tyler James on YouTube. Here’s one that’s a little interview introduction to him. He looks so young, yet his music and lyrics have that “old soul” feel to them. Technorati Tags: Tyler James, interview, video, YouTube, introductionsRead More →

It’s a good Friday today. Why do I say that? Because I get another free song by one of my favorite artists, Derek Webb. The other good news is that I was just introduced to what appears to be another artist I’m going to like, Tyler James. Who brings all of this together? MyFreeMusicFriday.com of course. Here’s what they’re giving away this week: “Stay Humble” by Tyler James “The End” by Derek Webb “Right Where It Belongs” by David Condos I’ve written about Derek Webb numerous times before, but as I said, Tyler James is new to me and he reminds me of John MayerRead More →

Inaya e-mailed me today to let me know about a new group named “until June“. I’d never heard of them and the way she described them to me made me think I’d really like their sound, and I was right. They are an LA based band that writes incredible songs with great harmonies and instrumentation. Its pretty original. their lyrics are pretty soulful and quite moving. She let me know that they have their website at www.untiljune.com and like any good band nowadays, they have a MySpace page where you can preview a few of their songs. I’m listening to “All I Have” right nowRead More →
