Just got to reading an article from Collide that I had saved about using Secular Music In Sacred Settings. Our church uses both sacred and secular music selections for a variety of uses and I believe it’s a useful mechanism. My recent post about my thoughts on Collective Soul and reading some articles discussed on Christianity Today I thought I’d propose a question to you the readers. Does a Christian who sings have to be promoted as a “Christian” artist? Are they less of a Christian if they sing in a secular group? Why do we have to have these labels?
