Some of you may be aware that one of my other b5media blogs is Idol Stalker where we cover all things about the current season of American Idol as well as past contestants and winners. Sadly, I was not aware that two of the contestants that have moved forward to Hollywood are worship pastors at their local churches. One participant, Chris Sligh, is a worship leader at Seacoast Church in Greenville, SC. The other contestant, Sean Michel, is a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant, AR. One of our teens and a young lady that operates her own dance studio. I’m not normally a big fan of interpretive dance but the combination with this song, and the message as I stated before really nailed the point trusting in God and understanding that we’re not in control of theRead More →

The WorshipTogether.com website is looking to start delivery a bi-monthly magazine to people involved in worship at their church, or anyone interested in worship for that matter. There’s a survey you can fill out here with more information. Also have the opportunity to maybe win an iPod. Worship this past Sunday at church was rockin’. The selection of songs was great and the spirit was really moving. I was totally pumped when the band started one song with a Collective Soul style riff. The service ended with our praise team and special choir doing a rendition of Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten”. The message ended a series on “Character” and this sermon was about having vision and talked about how God had prepared David in the obscure times of his life when it was just him a few sheep out in a field with nobody else around. We need to look for and fulfillRead More →
