Some of you may be aware that one of my other b5media blogs is Idol Stalker where we cover all things about the current season of American Idol as well as past contestants and winners. Sadly, I was not aware that two of the contestants that have moved forward to Hollywood are worship pastors at their local churches. We had a really great service at church yesterday. The combination of the message, worship and special songs were amazing. Specifically, one of the specials was “Held” by Natalie Grant. What made this particular performance special was that we had two members of our church do an interpretive dance along with the song. One of our teens and a young lady that operates her own dance studio. Worship this past Sunday at church was rockin’. The selection of songs was great and the spirit was really moving. I was totally pumped when the band started one song with a Collective Soul style riff. The service ended with our praise team and special choir doing a rendition of Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten”.
