I recently saw this posted by Donny Pauling on his Facebook wall and asked him if I could share it here. He gave me permission so here it is:

Ladies:
Once a month isn’t enough. And if you were sleeping together before marriage and the frequency drops off drastically after marriage, isn’t that a bit of false advertising? Sex is also not a tool to influence any sort of changes you wish to make in your man. God loves sex. Anything He loves that much will be manipulated by His enemy. If you’re not doing your best to keep the bedroom a regular rockin’ place, you’re helping do the devil’s work.
Gentlemen:
She’s not gonna be turned on and ready to go after receiving your attitude earlier in the day. Do the dishes and don’t complain, bring her flowers (try picking wild ones sometime), be kind in your speech even when you are irritated and push around a vacuum cleaner even if you’re tired. Oh, and talk to/cuddle your kids. It might make no sense to you, but those things are a great aphrodisiac.
And regardless of frequency or lack thereof, there is never ANY excuse to look elsewhere, even if it’s a computer screen. An image on a screen is STILL CHEATING.

If you’re not familiar with Donny or his story…
Yes, I was a porn producer for 9 years, contracting with Playboy and a group of other well known companies. Yes, I have become a Christian. And yes, I now speak publicly about what goes on behind the scenes here on this blog as well as at numerous Churches and Universities (including Yale University – WOOT!) across this great country of ours. But the reason I speak about what goes on “behind the scenes” of porn is NOT because I have become a Christian. I do so because someoneneeds to do so.
I was able to hear about Donny and his story through the work of Craig Gross and his ministry with XXX Church. I had the pleasure of meeting Donny and getting to know him just a little bit after an event we had with him as a speaker at Purdue University a few years ago.
To find out more about his story and the amazing stories of redemption and reclamation he’s been involved with and seen, visit his blog at www.donnypauling.com. You’ll also be able to find all the other ways you can stay in touch with Donny via your preferred social media network on his site.
