I’m watching tonight’s final performance episode of American Idol and seeing who’s going to bring it home between Mr. Entertainer, Blake Lewis, or Ms. Teenage Vocal Phenom, Jordin Sparks. They each get three songs, one of which is the song that was written by the winning submission for their songwriter contest. In one of my earlier posts I attributed the song “Dirty Little Secret” to the secular band All-American Rejects. The version of the song that was actually performed was by the group Pillar. The beginning of this year, one of our local Christian radio stations, 93.9 The Song, changed formats from Christian music to talk radio. Although I’m generally a fan of talk radio if the programming is right, I’ve missed having the 93.9 option on my radio for my drives into work in the mornings.
