Mandisa from American Idol Season 5 just signed a record deal with Sparrow Records. Mandisa said one of the greatest experiences of her time on American Idol was when she publicly forgave Simon for the comments he made about her and her weight. The free download available this week from HearItFirst.com is Decyfer Down’s song, “No Longer”. I’m listening to it now, it reminds me Incubus’ song “Drive” for some reason. Just the feel I get from it. It’s got a rocking beat and strong guitar sound. Good song though. Awhile back I received a couple of Christine Evans CD’s to listen to and review on this site. Regretfully, it’s taken far too long for me to get my thoughts down in pixels so everyone could see them. She’s an up-and-coming Canadian artist/songwriter just coming off a Canadian tour.
