I’ve already mentioned some of the cool features of eBible that are available on the re:Fresh site.
Remember, all you have to do is type a verse like John 3:16 and it will embed the verse details into the post for you with all the loop up information.
However, I’m sitting in Atlanta Bread Company right now working on a study of Matthew that our small group will be doing for the next couple of weeks. I’ve been playing around a little more with eBible to see other things that would be helpful as I develop the material with S.Ottney.
You can’t see it too clearly in the image above, but let me explain what it’s showing you.
On the left-side is the bible in the New International Version displayed. On the right-side is the same passage displayed in the New American Standard Version.
Each verse number is highlighted and linked so if you click on it, you can then choose to bookmark the verse or look-up the commentary. I’ve got the commentary displayed above.
The other neat little feature is there are keyboard shortcuts for scrolling the page and skipping chapters with the touch of a button. You may have also noticed the two arrows in circles on the far-right of the screen. You can hover your mouse over those to auto-scroll the page if you’d like.
Very nice features for studying things on your own, or like I’m doing, putting together some information to share with others.
