The free download available this week from HearItFirst.com is Decyfer Down’s song, “No Longer”. I’m listening to it now, it reminds me Incubus’ song “Drive” for some reason. Just the feel I get from it. It’s got a rocking beat and strong guitar sound. Good song though. Awhile back I received a couple of Christine Evans CD’s to listen to and review on this site. Regretfully, it’s taken far too long for me to get my thoughts down in pixels so everyone could see them. She’s an up-and-coming Canadian artist/songwriter just coming off a Canadian tour. iTunes takes a minute to recognize the roots of Christian pop/hip-hop music by saluting some of the founding fathers. They solute DC Talk and their 10-year Anniversay. iTunes celebrates the 10th Anniversary edition of dc Talk’s Jesus Freak  with a look at the band’s essential albums, solo projects from band members tobyMac and Kevin Max, and an exploration of the mark they’ve made on the landscape of contemporary Christian music.
