Dave Pettigrew is another artist I’ve been listening to lately and really enjoying. Sadly I’ve taken far too long to put my thoughts about the album down in type. The tone of his message and lyrics are a refreshing breath of the basics of our beliefs and how we feel towards the blessings we’ve been given. His music and lyrics strongly remind me of Steven Curtis Chapman. I’m not the only person who thinks that either, as after reading other reviews of his music, others were stating the same thing. His album “Every Minute Miracles” he weaves a tapestry of the various feelings andRead More →

DC Talk has a new album coming out. Okay, maybe not new because it’s a Greatest Hits CD, but it’s still a new CD. As I was looking at this new album though, I started thinking about all the albums they’ve put out and which one was my favorite. It also crossed my mind since I just finished working through an online survey for K-LOVE and the last song on the survey was “Lean On Me”. So, with that being said, what’s your favorite DC Talk album? Let us know in our latest poll! {democracy:6} After visiting the DC Talk website to make sure IRead More →

I’ve heard Mandisa’s song “Only the World” three times today on K-LOVE and it’s an uplifting and catchy tune for sure. It kind of reminds me of some old Anointed songs with the rhythm and tempo. It’s really great to see Mandisa getting this album released and staying with her Christian beliefs and using her talent in the industry. She’s really got the talent, that’s undoubted. I think this continues to show that even with the drama and spectacle that surrounds American Idol, it really is uncovering some great talent. You can hear the song for yourself by tuning into K-LOVE, visiting Mandisa’s official website,Read More →

If you’ve got a local K-LOVE station in your area, you probably already know that they’re currently in their annual pledge drive. The problem is, they’re not doing so well right now and need some help from listeners like you. We’ve got a few different Christian radio stations here, but we recently lost the one I preferred and I now rely on K-Love for all of my Christian music radio. Remember that radio is the originally option for free music. The challenge though is that K-LOVE isn’t allowed to sell ads, so they rely on their listeners for their financial support. They’ve stated that itRead More →
