I’m currently participating in a men’s Bible study that meets on Saturday mornings at 7:00am. I’ll say right off the bat that it’s a serious challenge for me to get up on Saturday mornings at 6:15 to get ready and drive to Bible study. My normal schedule puts me in bed usually well after midnight, so getting up early on a Saturday is definitely a sacrifice, but it’s well worth it. Worship this past Sunday at church was rockin’. The selection of songs was great and the spirit was really moving. I was totally pumped when the band started one song with a Collective Soul style riff. The service ended with our praise team and special choir doing a rendition of Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten”. The message ended a series on “Character” and this sermon was about having vision and talked about how God had prepared David in the obscure times of his life when it was just him a few sheep out in a field with nobody else around.
