I just returned from a one-week work & witness trip to New Orleans. We were working with Desire Street Ministries helping rebuild a neighborhood just across the canal from the lower 9th ward area. The Lower 9th Ward area was the area shown most on the news with all the flooding. It’s amazing the amount of damage and destruction that’s still in the area. It’s been almost a year now since Katrina, and it all still looks like a disaster zone. It’s the closest I’ve been yet to an area that resembles visiting a 3rd world country. Hey everyone. I’m planning to produce a monthly podcast called “Live Poets Society”. This podcast will be targeted mainly to artists and artists who are Christians.
