I talked about Until June awhile back and was lucky enough to have someone in their promotions department send me their full CD to listen to. It’s a great album and I really love their sound. They remind me of the early Jars of Clay. Looks like they’re making headlines and friends in the production areas of small screen series as well. Until June will be featured on the upcoming third season edition of “GREY’S ANATOMY” DVD box set collection, with their song “What I’ve Done,” and will be released on September 11th. The song will also be used on the promo spot of theRead More →

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Phil Keaggy. Six years to be exact. He’s delivered another vocal album once again though with “Dream Again”. I remember hearing Phil Keaggy in concert once when I was in college. He was giving a winter concert and his band got delayed at an airport so it ended up just being him to arrive on time for the concert. Instead of canceling though, he did an acoustic set. I was absolutely amazed at the the music he could produce with just his voice and trusted guitar. However, it wasn’t just the strings on the guitar he got toRead More →

Jeanne over at Idol Stalker just gave me the heads-up that Mandisa is doing really well with her debut release. Specifically, her song “Only the World”, she recorded with tobyMac and Kirk Franklin is doing extremely well. So well that she’s only trailing Beyonce on the Billboard Overall Single Sales at #2. Correction: “Only the World” is Mandisa’s solo release from her upcoming album. The song she recorded with tobyMac and Kirk Franklin was “Lose My Soul”, which is also great and can be heard on Mandisa’s MySpace page. In the original article on Christian Today, Mandisa said this about her faith and being onRead More →

DC Talk has a new album coming out. Okay, maybe not new because it’s a Greatest Hits CD, but it’s still a new CD. As I was looking at this new album though, I started thinking about all the albums they’ve put out and which one was my favorite. It also crossed my mind since I just finished working through an online survey for K-LOVE and the last song on the survey was “Lean On Me”. So, with that being said, what’s your favorite DC Talk album? Let us know in our latest poll! {democracy:6} After visiting the DC Talk website to make sure IRead More →

Crosswalk.com has a good review of an upcoming worship artist named Jeremy Riddle. They compare and liken him to the voices of Jeremy Camp or Jason Morant. Following on the heels of modern worship staples Chris Tomlin, Todd Agnew and David Crowder, “Full Attention” features 12 of Riddle’s original worship tracks, produced by Bob Hartry (the Emmy-nominated producer/songwriter who’s also a guitarist for Los Angeles band Kite7). With a voice and sound reminiscent of Jeremy Camp or Jason Morant, Riddle fits well into the Vineyard family. I’ve been a big fan of Jeremy Camp, so I’ll have to see if I can grab Riddle’s new albumRead More →
