Awhile back I received an e-mail from the developer of SetPicker about their application that helps worship leaders design and choose their worship set for services. SetPicker Worship Administration Software makes time available through speeding up the leaders administrative tasks.  You write set lists faster,  schedule your worship services quicker, contact all your team members with one click, and most of all remain organized! I have not personally tried this out, but thought I’d share it with the group to see if anyone else out there has heard of it or maybe even used it themselves. What software do you use? Do you use anything?Read More →

One of the first Christian music artists I ever really listened to growing up was Audio Adrenaline. For me Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline were the actually cool Christian groups that I might get my friends to listen to and respect their music. Understood given the decade and a half they’ve been rocking venues and music festivals. Although retiring due to front man Mark Stuart’s ongoing vocal challenges, the band has since 1991 takenRead More →

I’m just catching up on tonight’s episode of American Idol and their special “Idol Gives Back” show. What a great effort by an organization with some serious clout and weight that could really get some things changed. A single sponsor will be donating $5M if there are 50 million votes casted tonight. Melinda Doolittle performed a song by Faith Hill titled “There Will Come A Day” from her “Breathe” album. I’m not a country music fan, so I’d never heard this song before that I can remember. However, with Melinda Doolittle performing it for what I consider the first time I’ve ever heard it,Read More →

Listening to this song now by Superchick. It’s definitely another keeper. Read the lyrics below: HERO No one sits with him, he doesn’t fit in But we feel like we do when we make fun of him ‘Cause you want to belong, do you go along? ‘Cause his pain is the price paid for you to belong It’s not like you hate him or want him to die But maybe he goes home and thinks suicide Or he comes back to school with a gun at his side Any kindness from you might have saved his life… Heroes are made when you make a choice.Read More →
