I’ve heard Mandisa’s song “Only the World” three times today on K-LOVE and it’s an uplifting and catchy tune for sure. It kind of reminds me of some old Anointed songs with the rhythm and tempo. It’s really great to see Mandisa getting this album released and staying with her Christian beliefs and using her talent in the industry. She’s really got the talent, that’s undoubted. I’m watching tonight’s final performance episode of American Idol and seeing who’s going to bring it home between Mr. Entertainer, Blake Lewis, or Ms. Teenage Vocal Phenom, Jordin Sparks. They each get three songs, one of which is the song that was written by the winning submission for their songwriter contest.   I’m just catching up on tonight’s episode of American Idol and their special “Idol Gives Back” show. What a great effort by an organization with some serious clout and weight that could really get some things changed.
