I’m watching tonight’s final performance episode of American Idol and seeing who’s going to bring it home between Mr. Entertainer, Blake Lewis, or Ms. Teenage Vocal Phenom, Jordin Sparks. They each get three songs, one of which is the song that was written by the winning submission for their songwriter contest. In one of my earlier posts I attributed the song “Dirty Little Secret” to the secular band All-American Rejects. The version of the song that was actually performed was by the group Pillar.   The creative arts ministry conference attended last week in Grand Rapids, MI was great! It was very inspiring, and a bit overwhelming to see the quality and excellence in production for a church that is actively doing what it takes to reach the lost around us.   I’m just catching up on tonight’s episode of American Idol and their special “Idol Gives Back” show. What a great effort by an organization with some serious clout and weight that could really get some things changed.
