Another album I’ve come across in the past few weeks was “Lovely” by Betsy Walker. Betsy is the cousin of another friend of mine that’s also a singer, Holly McDaniel. Holly let me borrow one of her CD’s to listen to and review on this site. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to it over and over. Awhile back I received a couple of Christine Evans CD’s to listen to and review on this site. Regretfully, it’s taken far too long for me to get my thoughts down in pixels so everyone could see them. Doing some research and posting to the Idol Stalker blog I write for b5media this evening and came across a free download of Ayla Brown singing “Breath of Heaven”. Ayla Brown was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol along with Katharine McPhee, Chris Daughtry and winner Taylor Hicks. The song is available as a free download in MP3 format. She does a really great job on this track. I haven’t heard her full album yet, but after hearing this, it may be a purchase I need to be pursuing further.
