Another album I’ve been listening to is “This Is My Story” by David Frush. David serves as the minister to junior high students and the student ministry worship leader at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, TX. This album delivers and transports you to an atmosphere or worship, I’m sure he does a fantastic job of leading worship for the students at his church. One of the items on my “Bucket List” so to speak is to make it down to Atlanta and visit Buckhead Church for a long weekend. I was informed this morning by the man himself that Fee is rocking out worship at Buckhead today. The picture above shows the perspective that I usually see during church. I’m the lighting tech lead for our services. My mom participated in a National Youth Congress that took place in Estes Park, CO a LONG time ago. To this day though she still talks about how beautiful the area was. I love being out in nature, so I can imagine how nice it would be to combine that with immersing myself in Christian music at this event. I wish I had heard about this earlier. Worship Leader Magazine has had a contest going on where you could win a $15,000 stage makeover for your church. The problem is the entries have already been submitted and now you can vote for who you think should be the winner. At first I was thinking “Ahhh man! Why didn’t I hear about this sooner?” Then I started thinking, could $15,000 be used in a better way to reach more people for Christ? What do you think? Awhile back I received an e-mail from the developer of SetPicker about their application that helps worship leaders design and choose their worship set for services. SetPicker Worship Administration Software makes time available through speeding up the leaders administrative tasks.  You write set lists faster,  schedule your worship services quicker, contact all your team members with one click, and most of all remain organized!
