Stukenberg’s “Mountain of Pieces” album is another one I’ve been listening to for the last couple of weeks and really enjoying. They’ll be performing at Cornerstone 2008 in Bushnell, IL the week of July 4th. My first impression after popping the album in my computer was of a ska band on their initial song “Don’t Mind”, but after continuing through the album they’re so much more than that. I received an email in my Inbox the other day letting me know I could catch Toby Mac in concert at my local theater. My initial thoughts on something like this weren’t very high. I didn’t really understand why anyone would want to go watch a music concert at their theater. However, after seeing U23D and enjoying the Collective Soul “Home” DVD, the idea might be growing on me. Blake Bollinger will be in concert next week at The Prophet Bar in Dallas, TX. He’ll be performing Friday, May 23rd at 9pm. The Prophet Bar is located at 2548 Elm St. After Blake’s performance you can also hear April Geesbreght perform as well. I found out earlier this evening that Word Label group recording artist David Phelps is in concert right now on the south side of Indianapolis. My good friend is the Director of Production and Technology, I really should have known about this concert earlier. It’s amazing to me that they would schedule this concert on the same night that Casting Crowns is in concert in downtown Indianapolis.
