We had a really great service at church yesterday. The combination of the message, worship and special songs were amazing.
Specifically, one of the specials was “Held” by Natalie Grant. What made this particular performance special was that we had two members of our church do an interpretive dance along with the song. One of our teens and a young lady that operates her own dance studio.
I’m not normally a big fan of interpretive dance but the combination with this song, and the message as I stated before really nailed the point trusting in God and understanding that we’re not in control of the seasons in our lives.
Another song we sang that fit well was “Wholly Yours” by David Crowder Band.
Great service, I’m so in love with Jesus more because of our church and community we have going there. We’re not perfect , we still struggle in some areas and we an always get better. If you’re in the Indianapolis area, consider yourself invited and you can e-mail me to let me know to expect you.
